J. Eric King – President
J. Eric King graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in construction and began building homes in the Capital Region in the 1960’s. Partnering with his father, Tom King on the realty side, the family business took off and enjoyed many years of growth and success. Mr. King has filled a number of leadership roles throughout his career, including several years as the President of the New York State Builder’s Association and the Albany Area Builder’s Association. Through these roles, hard work, dedication, and the fortune of great people surrounding and supporting it, the once small single family home building firm of “Equinox Construction Corporation” has grown into the commercial and hospitality powerhouse of Equinox Companies, all through the vision and dedication of J. Eric King. Mr. King is currently the President of the Colonie Seniors and is a founding member and trustee of the Saratoga Automobile Museum.
Todd Fischer – Head of Construction and Development
Todd Fischer is a graduate of the University of Vermont and a veteran of the Vietnam War. After serving his country as a helicopter pilot, he returned to the Capital Region and began building homes for Equinox Construction Corporation. Mr. Fischer has worked side by side with J. Eric King for over 40 years, developing over a million square feet of commercial and residential space, bringing an extraordinary and unmatched amount of knowledge and foresight to the table. His work ethic is second to none, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to perfection. Mr. Fischer has served on the Board of The Albany Area Builder’s Association and is an avid car enthusiast, as a member of the Saratoga Automobile Museum and the Porsche Club of America.
Lori Buckley – Controller
Lori Buckley has a BS in Business Management from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Masters of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has worked for Equinox Companies for over 10 years where she has used her expertise in accounting and finance to ensure that firm runs with fiscal responsibility. Prior to working for Equinox, Lori was Business Manager for a commercial and residential real estate firm in Seattle, WA. Lori is a married mother of 3 and a committed runner, participating in several annual races and acting as Treasurer for the local track club. She travels frequently to the Pacific Northwest where she enjoys time with family and friends.
